It's spring, so there is pollen everywhere. (Achooo) Last night it rained, and the pollen count for the day is half as high as yesterday :D But it made me think about the plant life on Pandora - unless they have entirely different reproduction methods - the pollen count there must be high all year. The Na'vi must not generally have allergy problems. Perhaps they don't have have a histamine analog in their blood chemistry. I wonder if any of the information in the Pandorapedia tells? @_@
Avatar blew me away. It fascinates me on several levels. The movie, especially in IMAX, is gorgeous. The Na'vi people are larger than life - mythic - and their principles are worth emulating. They inspire me creatively to make costumes and artifacts that fit with Avatar. And I suddenly want to understand how the 3D works! @_@
